“Hi family and friends, We’re so excited to welcome our very first baby and feel incredibly lucky to have your love and support along the way. Since this is our first little one, we’ve thoughtfully created a registry with items we hope will help us feel a little more prepared for this new adventure. To help avoid duplicates and make things easier, we kindly ask that gifts come from the registry. We truly appreciate it — it means the world to us! We won’t be opening presents at the shower, and there’s absolutely no need to bring a physical gift. The registry is super convenient since we can choose when to have items shipped — no wrapping required! For a bit of fun, we’ll also be doing a diaper raffle: bring a pack of diapers (any size except newborn) and you’ll be entered to win a sweet little prize! And instead of a card, we’d love if you brought a children’s book (new or gently loved) with a note inside — your words will become part of Baby Hallquist’s storytime memories.
