A note from Tiffany & Matthew
“After ten years and 4 miscarriages we are pretty shocked, but very happy, to be welcoming a baby boy into our lives. Given our fertility history, pregnancy felt impossible but here we are having a baby at a truly wild time in human and Earth history! We’ve done our best to mark what we need the most (AKA: Most Wanted / has a star on it), what we are hoping to get new, and what we are totally open to receiving used. Most important items over all: * Diaper pre-folds and covers * Wipes * Swaddle blankets * Bottles We would be happy to accept used items for most of the things on this list! And they do not in any way have to be the same exact items / brands listed. We’re just hoping to avoid lead, PFAS, tons of plastic, and other toxic chemicals wherever possible. We’re doing reusable / washable diapers, which is why there are individual diaper covers on there and packs of ‘pre-folds'. In addition to specific items, we have a Parental Leave Fund to help Matthew a couple of weeks off with Tiffany and baby to help with recovery and baby’s intro to our lives. The General Baby Fund is for folks that can only give a couple bucks but would still like to support us. These funds will go toward helping us purchase the big ticket stuff like the crib and car seat. Additionally, these funds will give us the freedom to find these pricier items used. Any little bit of support will make a huge difference and mean the world to us. We know that there is a lot of need these days and many of us are facing financial changes.
